Our Telegram community is a semi-private space where members support each other. Important privacy considerations:

What We Cannot Control

  • What members share about themselves

  • Screenshots or recordings members may take

  • Private messages between members

In addition to the information described in Section 1, Coached Program customers provide:

During Coaching Calls:

  • Voice and video (if video enabled) recordings of all coaching sessions

  • Discussion of your progress, challenges, and personal circumstances

  • Information about your triggers, vulnerabilities, and strategies

  • Any personal information you choose to share during coaching

Through Daily Check-Ins:

  • Daily progress reports via Telegram or text

  • Information about urges, challenges, and emotional states

  • Updates on your recovery progress

Through Emergency Support:

  • Crisis situation details

  • Real-time information about urges or relapse risk

  • Any information shared during emergency support interactions

9.2 HOW WE USE COACHING INFORMATION

We use the information collected through coaching services to:

  • Provide Personalized Coaching: Tailor coaching sessions and guidance to your specific situation and needs

  • Create Deliverables: Develop your Personalized Trigger Map and 90-Day Maintenance Plan documents

  • Maintain Continuity: Reference previous conversations and track your progress across coaching sessions

  • Improve Support: Understand what strategies are working and adjust our approach accordingly

  • Emergency Response: Respond appropriately to emergency support requests

  • Verify Completion: Confirm coaching attendance and engagement for refund eligibility purposes

9.3 CALL RECORDINGS

Recording Notice: All coaching calls are recorded with your knowledge and consent by purchasing the Coached Program.

How Recordings Are Used:

  • Recordings are provided to you for your personal reference and review

  • We may review recordings internally for quality assurance and training purposes

  • Recordings help maintain continuity between coaching sessions

Storage and Access:

  • Recordings are stored securely on encrypted servers

  • Only you and necessary staff members have access to your recordings

  • Recordings are retained for the duration of your program plus 90 days, then deleted unless you request continued access

Your Rights:

  • You may request deletion of recordings at any time after receiving them

  • You may request we do not record your sessions (though this may affect the coaching experience)

  • Recordings are for your personal use only and may not be shared, published, or distributed

9.4 CONFIDENTIALITY OF COACHING CONVERSATIONS

We Treat All Coaching Conversations as Confidential:

Information shared during coaching calls, check-ins, and emergency support is kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except:

  • When required by law, court order, or government regulation

  • When necessary to comply with legal obligations

Imminent Danger:

  • If you express intent to harm yourself or others

  • If we become aware of child abuse or neglect (as required by law in many jurisdictions)

  • These platforms have their own security measures and potential vulnerabilities

  • Internet communications can potentially be intercepted despite encryption

Third-Party Platforms:

  • Zoom, Google Meet, and Telegram have their own privacy policies and data practices

  • We do not control these platforms' security or data handling

  • Your information is subject to their terms and privacy policies

Telegram Check-Ins:

  • Daily check-ins via Telegram are subject to Telegram's security and data practices

  • Telegram stores messages on their servers

  • We recommend using an anonymous username for Telegram communications

Legal Disclosure:

  • We may be required by law to disclose information in response to lawful requests from public authorities

  • We cannot guarantee confidentiality if legally compelled to disclose

9.6 DATA SECURITY FOR COACHING SERVICES

Additional Security Measures for Coaching:

  • Call recordings stored on encrypted, password-protected servers

  • Access to coaching information limited to coach and essential support staff only

  • Intake forms transmitted via secure, encrypted connections

  • Regular security audits of systems handling sensitive coaching data

Your Responsibility:

  • Use a private, secure internet connection for coaching calls

  • Do not share your call recordings or written deliverables with others

  • Keep your Telegram/communication credentials secure

  • Conduct calls in a private space where you cannot be overheard

9.7 DATA RETENTION FOR COACHING SERVICES

How Long We Keep Coaching Data:

Intake Forms: Retained for 2 years after program completion, then securely deleted

Call Recordings:

  • Provided to you within 48 hours of each call

  • Retained on our servers for 90 days after your program completion

  • Then securely deleted unless you request extended access

  • You are responsible for maintaining your own copies if desired

Written Deliverables (Trigger Map, Maintenance Plan):

  • Provided to you as permanent documents for your use

  • We retain copies for 1 year after program completion

  • Then securely deleted from our systems

Coaching Notes:

  • Coach may maintain brief notes for continuity purposes

  • Notes retained for 1 year after program completion

  • Then securely deleted

Check-In Messages:

  • Subject to Telegram's data retention policies (outside our control)

  • We do not separately archive check-in messages beyond Telegram

After Refund:

  • If you receive a refund, all coaching data is deleted within 30 days

  • You must delete all recordings and deliverables from your possession

9.8 YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES - COACHING

You Have the Right To:

  • Request to see what coaching information we have about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your coaching data (subject to legal retention requirements)

  • Opt out of having your information used for program improvement (even anonymously)

9.9 COACH AS INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

The coach operates as an independent contractor and may maintain their own records for professional liability and continuity purposes. These records are subject to this Privacy Policy and the coach's professional obligations to maintain confidentiality.

9.10 NO THERAPY - NO HIPAA

Important Distinction:

This is educational coaching, not therapy or medical treatment.

  • We are NOT covered entities under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)

  • This is not protected health information in the same way therapy records are

  • Standard privacy protections apply, but not HIPAA-level medical privacy protections

  • If you need HIPAA-protected treatment, please see a licensed mental health professional

9.11 BREACH NOTIFICATION

If We Become Aware of a Data Breach Affecting Coaching Information:

We will:

  • Notify affected customers within 72 hours of discovering the breach

  • Explain what information was compromised

  • Describe steps we're taking to address the breach

  • Provide guidance on steps you can take to protect yourself

  • Report the breach to appropriate authorities if required by law

9.12 CHANGES TO COACHING PRIVACY PRACTICES

We may update these coaching-specific privacy terms from time to time. If we make material changes that affect how we handle coaching information:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date

  • Continued use of coaching services after notification constitutes acceptance

  • You may discontinue coaching services if you disagree (subject to Terms of Service)
